Card games are a fantastic way to practice basic math operations. They are cheap and readily available. The ways you play are endless! Each time I come up with a new game or find one on the web, I will share it here. Watch the video to see Pyramid Solitaire and Hop, Skip, and a Jump. All other games, click on the cogs to get there.
In your directions for Hop, Skip, Jump, you say to roll the dice to determine the wild card for each game. How can you roll a sum of one to make the Ace the wildcard and how can you roll a sum of 13 to make the King the wildcard? Am I misunderstanding the directions?
Thanks for the clarification Pauline. I should have mentioned that an ace or king wouldn't ever be a wild card. I appreciate you taking the time to bring this to my attention. I will reconsider making the video again with corrections.
